Moncktonized Trend
A 'Moncktonized' trend is a term that describes a climate trend chart that has either been manipulated or faked by using incorrect data, or data used out of context. This can/does include using short term data (weather) to misrepresent long term trends (climate). In this graph we can see that Lord Monckton misleads the reader by showing short term data while ignoring long term trends. The IPCC trend line in not only out of context, it is misrepresented in its entirety. Short-term is weather/natural variation. Long-term is climate trend.
