Moncktonized Trend - Hurricane Data
A 'Moncktonized' trend is a term that describes a climate trend chart that has either been manipulated or faked by using incorrect data, or data used out of context. This can/does include using short term data (weather) to misrepresent long term trends (climate). In these images you can see how Lord Monckton misrepresents the hurricane trend by using a chart that has nothing to do with the relevant context of hurricane strength and trends.
